LAURA ASHLEY EASTER TABLE

Greetings from chilly Missouri.  I
believe most of the country is still
chilly these days.  I have been shocked
that in spite of the cold, we have had
an abundance of bulbs blooming in
our yard.

I recently found some old vintage
Laura Ashley fabric to make this
tablecloth for our Easter table.

The fabric has a lot of bold drama
which is a little different than what I
might usually choose.  I am using some
old vintage "English Abbey" dishes by
Taylor & Smith of West Virginia.

A close up of the dish setting:

We celebrate our Lord every day
but also love this special time
of Easter when we focus on the
price He paid to forgive us for our
own sins and then His resurrection
from the dead.

Happy Easter!

ANOTHER MARCH BOUQUET

Even though the temperature has mostly
been in the 50's this week, we have bulbs
blooming here and there.

I was particularly interested to see
what bulbs might return this year.

I am also sharing a little tea cozy
I had made myself years back.  I
recently redid the style which had
elastic on the bottom initially.

How is your springtime coming along?
We are supposed to have warmer
weather tomorrow and then some
rain.  I hope we actually get that
rain because we sure need it.

This cozy is made from moire fabric
with an old vintage doily sewn over
the moire.

Here's wishing you a
happy springtime!

MY GREEN TABLESETTING AND ST PATRICK'S DAY

I purchased 2 more green transferware plates so now I have a full set.
 This was not without issues
but let's don't even go there.

I also am including a few
Easter decorations.

I have shared the tea cozy I made
from a dinner napkin already.

Perhaps you have a spring
or Saint Patrick's Day table setting
going on at your house too.

I have gotten rid of some
of my old decorations
but one must have some!

EARLIEST MARCH SPRING BLOOMS

So now that March arrived we
have a few bulbs popping out here
and there and more following behind.

The giant pussy willow is in full
bloom in our front yard.

I have been watering my bulbs
this spring as we had a very
mild snow winter.

Last year I never went back to organize my seeds in the garage potting bench so they are just stacked sky high.  Sometimes
you just have to make the best of things
as it happens so I will just deal with
that on a nice day.
